Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Town Board Public Hearing to allow for review and comments of the Draft Carmans River Watershed Protection and Management Plan. The hearing will begin at 6:30 PM at Brookhaven Town Hall, One Independence Hill, Farmingville. If you wish to address the Town Board you need to fill out a Speaker Card and sign in at the Clerk’s Office Station perpendicular and to the left of the dais. Your name will be called in the order in which it appears on the list. Please ensure that your comments can be made in the allotted time of 5-minutes. Immediately following your presentation you should provide your written statement to the Clerk’s Office Station.
This is a hearing to gather additional comments on the Draft of the plan and to formally “accept” it for further review. Additional hearings and other processes will occur prior to the Plan’s proposed “adoption” later this year. Written comments may also be submitted by those unable to attend this hearing.
