Ms. Barbara Royce, the administrator of Middle Island’s Thee Island Inn, has reached out to MICA to provide assistance to a local family in need. Barbara was a guest speaker at a recent MICA meeting and described the workings of the outreach facility located on Church Lane. Hot meals are provided on Wednesday and Thursday evenings as well as a distribution of food pantry items when they are available.
MICA board member Margaret Malloy has volunteered to coordinate the collection of donations from folks who desire to help one of our local families this holiday season. Please read the following flyer for details.
