Saturday, October 9th will be the annual Fire Prevention Open House at Fire Headquarters on Arnold Drive from 12 pm to 3 PM. Free giveaways for all ages and live demonstrations. There will be a poster contest for West Middle Island school students grades K-4 and winners will be announced, with prizes given. Hot Dogs, Soda, and Water be available throughout the event.
Saturday, October 16th from 5 PM till 8 PM the Ladies Auxiliary of the MIFD will hold a Pasta Dinner at headquarters on Arnold Drive. Pasta, Meatballs, Salad, Beverages and Dessert. Pre-paid tickets are $8.00 Adults, $4.00 kids 4-10. If you pay at the door: Adults $10.00. Kids $5.00. Proceeds to benefit homeless families within Middle Island and a Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship fund for a Longwood Student Call 631-875-5462 for tickets and info.
Annual Halloween Haunted Trail will be bigger and better this year. This exciting event will also held at Fire Headquarters on October 22, 23 and 29 and 30th. More details to follow!
