From MIFD Commissioner Jeff Davis:
A fund has been set up for the Burns family of Middle Island who lost everything in an early morning house fire this week. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated in the form of donations of clothes, blankets, food, toys, etc. Please let me know and I will get the supplies to others who are organizing a drive.
They have 3 boys: Christian 18 months, Zach 7 years old, Nicholas 8 years old, and one girl, Skye, will be turning six years old. Their sizes are as follows:
Boys: 2T, size 8 and 9 clothes, Girl size 6
Parents: Mens size 34 waist 32 lenght, Medium to large size shirts, size 12 shoe, womens size 12 and medium shirts.
A fund account has been opened at a local bank, all checks can be written to the Burns Family Fund, items can be dropped off at the Middle Island Fire headquarters (call first 924-3116) or contact me: davisj1029@yahoo.com or Laura Meisenzahl: lmeis2002@yahoo.com
