More than two dozen MICA members enjoyed an awesome two-hour tour of Brookhaven National Lab on Wed, March 11th, 2026.
Many thanks to BNL’s David Manning for his intriguing stories and, most especially, to Amy Engel for organizing this wonderful afternoon and arranging for us to travel by school bus between the spectacular research facilities.
Amy will be returning to speak with us at our May 21st MICA meeting. In addition to providing an overview for non-tour-attendees, she will answer tour-generated questions and provide some history of the site, which began as Camp Upton in 1917.
