On Friday, May 10th, MICA officers and members joined elected officials for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the new grocery store in town. We are thrilled to welcome Sunny Farms Marketplace to our community. The store is located in Middle Island Plaza at 868 Middle Country Road. It is an upscale, family-owned business, run by brothers Ron and Dan Han and their proud parents. They specialize in fresh fish and local produce. The store has been beautifully remodeled, with new floors and lighting, and it features its own sushi bar and bakery. MICA presented the Hans with a Certificate of Welcome. as did many government reps including TOB Councilman Mike Loguercio, NYS Senator Dean Murray, NYS Assemblyman Joe DeStefano, Rosalie Hanson from NYS Assemblyman Ed Flood’s office and Quentin Palifka representing SC Legislator Chad Lennon.
