Longwood School Budget Vote & BOE Election: Tues, May 17, 7am-9pm

Tuesday, May 17th is the annual School Budget Vote & BOE Election.  Polls are open from 7am to 9pm. Voting for this election takes place at the four elementary schools.  For all us MICAns with a 11953 zip code, we vote at the West Middle Island Elementary School at 30 Swezey Lane.

As presented by Longwood Superintendent Lance Lohman at our April MICA meeting, the proposed budget carries a projected tax levy increase of 0.60 percent, the lowest increase in more than a decade.
