Monthly Meeting
Our next MICA meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 28th, 2017 in the first floor Clemens Room of our beautiful LONGWOOD PUBLIC LIBRARY at 800 Middle Country Road at 7:00PM. Please join us!
We will be hosting the Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct Community Meeting.
After the police portion of the meeting, we will conduct our regular business agenda, including a presentation by Jeremy Longo of Belfor Properties about the proposed Middle Island Town Homes. This project will consist of 96 market rate apartments located on the northwest corner of Rts 21 and 25 in Middle Island, just north of the Shell Gas station.
LPL Director Lisa Jacobs will update us on the proposed 2017-2018 library budget and vote, to be held on April 4th.
MICA’s Nominating Committee will report on potential candidates for our annual election to be conducted at our regular April 20th civic meeting.
Our annual membership drive is underway. You may bring your $10 dues payment with you to this meeting.
Remember to bring non-perishable goods for donation to local agencies for distribution to needy families in our community. Thanks!
