TOB and NYS officials joined community leaders, civic members and affected neighbors to ask for DEC regulation of mulch at a press conference on April 6, 2015. With MulchMare Mountain looming in the background, speakers were sometimes barely audible over the loud clanging of machinery adding to the already huge piles of rotting and stench-ful debris.
