All MICA members and concerned residents are urged to attend our civic’s Special Meeting on Thursday, November 6th to consider the revised plans for the proposed McDonalds drive-thru restaurant at the King Kullen shopping center on Middle Country Road in Middle Island. Representatives from McDonalds will present new designs, building orientation, noise and litter mitigations. MICA voted unanimously in opposition to this project in April. Let’s see what changes the owners have come up with!
The meeting will start at 7:00pm at the MI Fire Department Main HQ building at Arnold Drive and Rt 25. Remember to park in the rear, northeast parking area; the lots directly in front and behind the fire house are reserved for volunteer firefighters responding to emergencies in our community.
