The regular meeting of the Middle Island Civic Association will be held on Thursday, December 19th in the Middle Island Fire Department headquarters on Arnold Drive beginning at 7:00pm.
Anthony Graves, Chief Environmental Analyst from the Town of Brookhaven’s Environmental Protection Division, will describe the growing problem of invasive species.
At 8:15pm, Margaret Malloy will organize a full member participation “wrap session” to prepare the gifts for MICA’s Adopt-A-Family. Additionally, please bring any of the gifts that you are donating to this last meeting before Christmas. Wrapping paper and associated materials will be available. Feel free to bring cookies to share with the members.
Remember to bring non-perishable goods for a special donation to the Yaphank Presbyterian Church food pantry to help replenish their stock which was destroyed by a fire last week.
