Rails to Trails Meeting 11/28

RAILS TO TRAILS

The North Shore Rails to Trail Alliance seeks to build a new bike and pedestrian path from Port Jefferson to Wading River.  This would be one of Long Island’s longest, and most beautiful recreational corridors.  This project repurposes more than ten miles of an old, abandoned right-of-way once used by the LIRR.

We need bicyclists, runners, rollerbladers, walkers, naturalists, and greenway enthusiasts to attend just one very important meeting to show their support for this project on Wednesday, November 28, at 7:00pm  (See details below.)

Please mark your calendar now, and we hope to see you on the 28th.

And – please tell your friends!
