MIDDLE ISLAND CIVIC ASSOCIATION

The regular meeting of the Middle Island Civic Association will be held on Thursday, February 20th in the Middle Island Fire Department headquarters on Arnold Drive beginning at 7:00pm.
There will be 2 Guest Speakers addressing the membership:
Dr. Michael Lonergan, Superintendent of the Longwood Central School District, and
Mr. Will Flower, President of “Green Stream Recycling”, the organization that recently implemented the innovative single stream recycling process in the Town of Brookhaven.
Additionally, per the recent announcement pertaining to members interested in the Community Gardens, there will be a 1 hour presentation by Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Elizabeth Takakjian from 6:00 to 7:00.
