Many thanks to all who participated in our toiletry bag assembly line for the homeless at Thursday’s MICA meeting. Special thanks to Total Dental Care, Rite Aid Middle Island, our outreach coordinator Christine Bentley and our very generous donor, longtime MICA member Betsy Martinez. Betsy joined Frank and me as we delivered 100 bags to the Lighthouse Mission outreach today at Holding Out Hope Church here in Middle Island. The line for food, coats and more was already long by noon. A poignant reminder of how lucky we are for all we have in our lives, including one another! Happy, Healthy Holidays to All.
