Daffodils in Bloom at Bartlett


Last fall, just after Superstorm Sandy, members of The Longwood Alliance and Middle Island Civic Association teamed up to plant 400 daffodil bulbs at Bartlett Pond Park in Middle Island.  After a long winter and late spring, these blooms are indeed a welcome sight.

Voters Approve LPL Budget

Although only a small number of Longwood residents took time from a beautiful sunny day to vote at the Library Budget Vote and Trustee Election on Tuesday, April 9th, the results were still overwhelmingly favorable.  Budget approval results: YES 342 ; NO 130. MICA Recognizes WalMart’s Blizzard Nemo Heroes


Our MI WalMart’s Blizzard Nemo Heroes were recognized at the Middle Island Civic Association’s March meeting.
