MIDDLE ISLAND CIVIC ASSOCIATION

As you are very likely aware, the 25 year old Longwood Public Library has seen a significant growth in its services to local residents of all ages. This has been coupled by a 30% increase in the population it serves. In order to continue playing a vital role in the community, an expansion and renovation of the current facilities is being proposed. This proposal will be the subject of a referendum vote scheduled for Tuesday, October 9th. Representatives of the Library and design team will be making a detailed presentation and question/answer session at the upcoming September 20th MICA meeting.
Remember to bring non-perishable goods for donation to a local agency for distribution to needy families in our area.
