Bachmann, Kevin O\u2019Connor; Also attending:\u00a0 George Lymber, Jacqui Palatnik<\/p>\n<p>I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited.<\/p>\n<p>II.\u00a0\u00a0 Minutes of the May 20, 2010 meeting were read and approved as written.<\/p>\n<p>III. Treasurer\u2019s Report:\u00a0 $3,194.00 in Savings, $561.42 in checking<\/p>\n<p>IV. President\u2019s Report\/Unfinished Business:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two $200 scholarships were awarded to two worthy Longwood High School Students<\/li>\n<li>Oakcrest property &#8211; Street light problem addressed &#8211; Town promised will have it resolved by the end of June<\/li>\n<li>K-mart Property &#8211; Breslin to meet with MICA on 7\/15 regarding property<\/li>\n<li>Carmans River Conference &#8211; Information on Brookhaven Town website<\/li>\n<li>Dumpsters behind Compare Foods &#8211; Maggio company &#8211; Town had them removed<\/li>\n<li>Boy Scout Ceremony &#8211; Was held on 6\/13\/10<\/li>\n<li>Flood Water Problems addressed by residents located mainly on Middle Island Road &#8211; Severe high water table, resident\u2019s basements flooded, requested MICA assistance.\u00a0 President Talbot will speak to North Shore Sun newspaper to have reporter discuss with residents &#8211; No progress with Town &#8211; Long Term Problem<\/li>\n<li>Brookhaven lab &#8211; Visitation on Sundays in Summer<\/li>\n<li>ABCO &#8211; Gambling &#8211; 6 locations mentioned &#8211; Meeting Monday, June 21, 2010 at Library<\/li>\n<li>Bartlett Park &#8211; Veterans Memorial Dedication 6\/19 at 11:00 &#8211; shuttle bus provided from MIFD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>V.
