Legislator Anker moved forward the acquisition process in an effort to preserve this environmentally sensitive property. The property, located on Church Lane in Middle Island, was slated to be developed. It is within the Compatible Growth Area for the Pine Barrens and is within the watershed area for Pine Lake.
