{"id":2602,"date":"2017-03-10T16:22:55","date_gmt":"2017-03-10T16:22:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/s453969799.onlinehome.us\/mica\/?p=2602"},"modified":"2017-03-10T16:22:55","modified_gmt":"2017-03-10T16:22:55","slug":"special-meeting-date-for-mica-in-march","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/s453969799.onlinehome.us\/mica\/?p=2602","title":{"rendered":"Special Meeting Date for MICA in March!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\">Please note : there is NO monthly meeting on March 16!<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b>MIDDLE ISLAND CIVIC ASSOCIATION<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>SPECIAL MEETING DATE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Tuesday, March 28th, 2017&#8230;7:00PM<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Monthly Meeting<\/p>\n<p>Our next MICA meeting will be held on <strong>Tuesday, March 28th<\/strong>, 2017 in the first floor Clemens Room of our beautiful LONGWOOD PUBLIC LIBRARY at\u00a0 800 Middle Country Road at 7:00PM.\u00a0 Please join us!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>We will be hosting the Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct Community Meeting.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After the police portion of the meeting, we will conduct our regular business agenda, including a presentation by Jeremy Longo of Belfor Properties about the proposed Middle Island Town Homes.\u00a0 This project will consist of 96 market rate apartments located on the northwest corner of Rts 21 and 25 in Middle Island, just north of the Shell Gas station.<\/p>\n<p>LPL Director Lisa Jacobs will update us on the proposed 2017-2018 library budget\u00a0 and vote, to be held on April 4th.<\/p>\n<p>MICA&#8217;s Nominating Committee will report on potential candidates for our annual election to be conducted at our regular April\u00a0 20th civic meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Our annual membership drive is underway.\u00a0 You may bring your $10 dues payment with you to this meeting.<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><strong><em>Remember to bring non-perishable goods for donation to local agencies for distribution to needy families in our community.
