Thursday, October 20th, 2016 at <\/span>7:00PM<\/span><\/p>\n Our next MICA meeting will be held on Thursday, October 20th, 2016 in the first floor Clemens Room of our beautiful LONGWOOD PUBLIC LIBRARY at 800 Middle Country Road at 7:00PM.\u00a0 Please join us!<\/p>\n Real estate attorney Tim Shea, of Certilman Balin, will introduce two potential projects for the Middle Country Road corridor in Middle Island.<\/i><\/p>\n MICA\u2019s \u201cMeet the Candidates Night\u201d will commence shortly thereafter.\u00a0 Incumbents Dean Murray, Anthony Palumbo and Ken LaValle are confirmed participants.\u00a0 Still hoping to hear back from the challengers!\u00a0 All welcome to attend.<\/i><\/p>\n MICA will provide updates on Innovation Toyota, Sandy Hills, Field of Dreams Park, the proposed 7Eleven, McDonalds, Neighborhood Watch and more.<\/p>\n Remember to bring non-perishable goods for donation to local agencies. \n<\/strong>We will utilize our well-established, respectful and friendly forum.\u00a0 Each candidate will have an equal, allotted time to speak and answer a few questions if time permits.\u00a0 Only candidates themselves may speak \u2013 no surrogates or representatives. Candidates must be nominees from major political parties who will represent Middle Island residents if elected.\u00a0 Questions from MICA members will be entertained first; each questioner shall give their name and hamlet of residence. And all audience members are expected to behave appropriately.
