The communities look clean and beautiful, and there is a sense of hometown pride and accomplishment.<\/p>\n Last year, 5,000 Brookhaven residents joined over 2.3 million volunteers in more than 15,000 communities across America to pick up millions of tons of litter, renew parks, plant community gardens, beautify miles of roadway, and clean up rivers, lakes and seashores in their communities.<\/p>\n This year\u2019s Great Brookhaven Cleanup is scheduled for April 21st<\/strong>.
